paste properties in 2015

Anybody have success with copy/paste of properties yet? In the manual it says that after instigating paste the cursor will turn into a bucket when hovering over other objects. THis is not happenning for me. If I try to copy paste properties of a wall for instance I get no bucket and it just wants to...

isolate layer

It would be great if there was a button to isolate a layer. For instance; if I want to work on landscape elements but while trying to make a large selection I keep picking up additional elements from different layers. I would like to choose an element on landscape layer and have a toggle button that...

Re: PDF Printing Problems

simon, do you produce most of your documentation at Arch D/A1 size? I've moved everything to Arch B/A3 size and can do it all from a wide format desktop printer... If you cannot find a local printer who has macs this might be a more viable option. although, again I say (with plenty of hope!) that ma...

Re: PDF Printing Problems

I have had issues like what both you and Matthew have described. There is definitely an issue printing PDFs from Highdesign from acrobat. The real problem is finding out where the fault actually lies - with HD, with the MacOS or with acrobat. The most frustrating thing is that PDFs are supposed to b...

Re: Optimal Structuring of Sheets

Hi Melissa, I understand (for the most part) what you are explaining, but we all know what a picture is worth… it might be helpful for you to upload some PDFs or JPGs of a typical project that you've created previously. I think that would make it easier for some of us to bring our knowledge and expe...

Re: OS X Mavericks

Couldn't agree more. I am very sad to see this once great app with such potential just floundering without any real prospect. At this rate we'll be at OSXI before we see a real HD update...

Re: batch printing

Not yet, no. The way I have tended to do it is to use the print preview function (ctrl cmnd P) and save them all as PDFs and then either combine them into a binder or simply open them all and batch print from Preview.

Re: Walls

Okay, I got a little excited. What about cleaning up crossing walls? I'll let you go back to work after this one. Thanks, john Same thing. Just select the one which is too long and extend it to the one it should be intersecting. Unless you are hoping for a proper 4 way intersection. That isn't yet ...

Re: Walls

Walls? Absolutely yes. I can't imagine using HD without them... especially for the ease that they provide in placing doors and windows. I have just been playing around and cannot recreate the problem you describe. Humour me and try the following: draw a wall (any width) draw another wall (any width)...
