HD2015 and degree of a circle.

Post by Beagle »

Help, how can you setup the angles.
so that

Nord =0°
East = 90°
South = 180°
West = 270°

Just like any division device like a Vertex on a milling machine.
Just like any normal magnetic compass

A circle divided in 360° and not in 4 times 90° and not that South = -90°

Under Drawing > Project Properties > Sheet Units there is a setting for type of angle. Next to that is where you can set what you want North to be. It defaults to 90º, but you can set it to anything you want. Setting it to 0º puts North facing to the right of the screen, but does not really alter any thing as far as drawing goes unless you are using the bearing setting under type of angle.

I am not sure this is what you are looking for though. It sounds more like you want vertical on the screen to 0º. Is that correct? If so, i am not sure if or how that can be done.

no that is not what I want.

In setup I choose bearings: draw a horizontal line and then I want another line at an angle of 120° and other line at 240° as axises.
what I got is notices like :
S63,13°W
or
N36,73°E

This are notification am use to 30 yr's ago at nautical school when calculating positions of stars. But never in my 72 yr I have seen a technical drawing with such notification.

:Oops: found it ---> setup = "Normal" and north at "90 °
