HighDesign 1.8.5 Release Candidate 1 is now ready for download and testing.

Please note:

The package includes the application file and the release notes.

"Release Candidate" is a beta release that should be ready for the final, public release, but may still contain minor bugs. Beta software, by definition, can be unstable and cause crashes and even data loss. We strongly recommend you test on copies of your projects, and back up your projects often while using pre-release software.

Any issues you encounter should be reported as thoroughly and quickly as possible via email at feedback @ ilexsoft . com

Yes, the notes regarding changes and improvements are inside the folder. The major enhancement is in the color management and syncronization with layers. We also focused on stability, speed on the latest Mac OS updates and file integrity.

I like the changes to the color palette. Could you tie the custom colors in the Fill dialog box to this custom color set too? For now, it seems that the two are distinct.

You mean the actual fill color or the 'Edges' stroke color? Because the latter has been updated since RC1 to include the 'By Layer' option and stay in sync with the main color box in the properties bar.

I guess universal colors (lines, fills, any) would reference the same color picker which would have the custom colors.
