Using F-keys as shortcuts

Using AutoSketch 2.1 since 1995, I am used to the F-keys.
One of the reasons I bought the PRO-version of 1.5 was to be able to coustimice
the keys as close as possible to my old AutoSketch.

Can the F-keys be altered in function as stand alone keys ?
Ex. F3 does an erase.
Haven´t been able to figure it out

Help please or if not possible, could this be put in as an update.

You cannot currently assign shortcuts to the Function keys, because they are slightly different from the other keys. Of course, we can add support to F-keys in the future, provided they do not conflict with system shortcuts such as Dashboard on Tiger.

I was kind of hoping, it was possible.

Guess I have to get use to some other shortcuts, but
it is very hard after so many years.
