Grazie

Google translate is our friend here! Yes, really its too bad that we're kept in the dark on progress. It only takes a moment to post an update, even if its only 'we're late, sorry'. The developers need to ensure users continue to have long term confidence in the program.

Re: ... Rispondere é cortesia
Since the web page is praised the diligence in the responses from developers would have sufficed as a response of any kind "do not develop anything"or "we're late, sorry. " And I write in Italian as my protest is aimed at developers who are Italian.
Thanks

seconded the lack of response to these posts is alarming particularly in the current global economic climate
Re: ... Rispondere é cortesia
other than performance improvements with really large files, I honestly don't know what else I'd look for in this app... it can be slow when the drawing gets big

I am sorry some of you have recently experienced a support service that was below our normal standard. This won't happen in the future.
We are working full time on the development of the new version, and have a list of future improvements and updates that goes up to version 3.0 already. We love HighDesign and are entirely committed to its development, and we love being part of this community!
As for the new version, in addition to the feature set being expanded, there has been a major internal redesign that was needed in order to improve the overall performance and meet the requirements of new systems and platforms.

Re: ... Rispondere é cortesia
thank you very much. I am happy and eager to try the new version
Re: ... Rispondere é cortesia
Good to have such a positive response from the developers. Given that we were given a teaser picture back in October, it would be good to have at least some approximate timetable for the near future, if not all the way up to v3.0!

Re: ... Rispondere é cortesia
I open the site every day with the hope to have some news.
At least a beta release, a hypothetical date, anything!
I do not know how many people have HD but it will lose so many.
I'm not happy with how things have developed.
Too bad!

It really is somewhat disheartening that the developers cannot take a minute to update us every once and a while. I really like HD and am looking forward to the next version with great anticipation. It seems they are doing themselves a great disservice by not keeping this community abreast of what is going on with the development of the next version.

Agree wholeheartedly - July 2009 was the last update, to 1.8.5, and the website hasn't changed much since then either. With programs such as Vectorworks moving to an annual cycle, with intermediate bug fixes, Ilexsoft need to more pro-active. Certainly, potential customers reading this forum are going to be wary about buying into a product with an unclear future, and those of us that have paid deserve to be treated with a little more courtesy.

I believe that there is more interest in developing soft.
And then we write only five or six.
I think I'll spend a draftsight.
bye

Sorry Franco, but that doesn't make any sense!
