HD drafting
I have an architectural practice in California that specializes in residential work. I have projects in California, Arizona, and Hawaii. I'm looking for some one to do HD drafting on a part time basis to help with the work load. Please contact me if you're interested.

Importing dxf drawings
Any tips on importing dxf drawings from acad. It seems that when importing the dxf drawings into HD some of the items don't make it thru. Especially curved walls and lines.

Transistion
I just completed my first project (that I got paid for) in HD after four months of transistion from acad. Welcome any comments from others who have made the transistion. And thankyou to HD for their support.

walls
Still exploring....it seems that when I draw a wall perpendicular to another wall that instead of just going to the wall I go through the wall it cleans up the lines.

Different thickness
After playing around abit it seems to me that if you use the same thickness in the walls there's no problem in connecting the walls so that they look continuous. But if you have for example a 6" wall and a 4" wall they don't seem to want to merge.

Ybalx, thanks for the reply. This is diffently not what I wanted to hear. Up to now I've been doing 1-3 pages for basically schematic design presentations using HD. This transistion to working drawings is something I could probably figure out with time, but who in the working world has that. I spend...

welcome. colorado springs is a greatplace. My son goes to college there. I also would like a answer to your question. Since I work on both the PC and Mac, I use the PC (autcad) to do the translation. But it would be nice not to go to the extra steps. I've thought of using virtual pc on the mac since...
