leader text blocks
I'm noting up some drawings, wall sections and elevations. Wish we had a tool to start of a line with an arrow, click to set the end of the leader, then open up a text box for note entry. Text styles, so that we can save different styles for labels and room names versus small text notes. Dimension t...
Van, good to have some more viuce on the forum. I've got the old autocad habits too, especially with Line entries. I often (maybe twice each drawing session) click to start a line, enter the length, and look at the screen to realize I've rezoomed several times, since direct entry of numbers effects ...

Something I noticed is that one click on my McNally Mouse Jr. USB mouse equals two zooms... this doesn't happen on other scroll/zoom situations in other apps; one click equals one zoom. It'd be nice to be able to set this and I don't believe I can do this in mouse system preferences. One more improv...

grazie! I checked out the release notes and see that you also corrected the area calculation and added scroll zoom and improved pan refreshs... can't wait to get to my design machine and upgrade! BTW, in town meeting with my colleagues from Sesto (outside Firenza) and I mentioned you guys and your g...

I wish for a way to change to a objects layer
Andrea, perhaps this can already be done. When editing with the arrow tool and I click on an object that is on another layer, that layer is identified with a pop-up bubble. With that bubble open, I'd like to be able to keyboard shortcut to the selected object's sheet... rather than having to select ...

Allister, I believe that's a great idea to put more functionality behind the right button and scroll wheel in HD. I do use these extra buttons often in Sketchup -- plus you can press the scroll wheel and pan. Currently in HD you simply press number keys 1-6 to preset zooms (1 is wide and 6 is close)...

Wish List: User Assignable Key Command Shortcuts
Although I'm getting used to the HD key commands, I'd love to be able to re-assign, or at least add additional keys for shortcuts. The classic one is "K" for "Line": it'd be great if I could assign "L" for "Line" to match ACAD and SU. Sketch Up does this very ...

I always had similar problems regardless of paper size and in 1.1.1. My work around was repositioning the print area somewhat by eye and test printing until the entire image printed. I also reduced the print area by an inch on two sides in order to fit the paper. It'd be much better if the print rev...

Cheers to ilexsoft on this new forum!
Now I don't need to preach about HighDesign in other application forums... hope this forum gets to be as productive as some of the others; thinking mostly about SketchUp's success.
