Re: Working Drawings

Hi JM, As of yet there are no significant changes to the way drawings are organised in HD. It is important however to understand what a sheet is and how it (they) can be used to create pages . If you are familiar with Vectorworks I would make the comparison with their layers and classes where classe...

Re: PDFs revisited

I normally save my various layouts as project views and use the print preview dialogue to generate my pdfs - which I do using the print>save as PDF function. My pdfs always print fine from preview, ...

Re: Snapping inside Symbols?

Hi Matthew, Sorry this isn't helpful, but I can confirm that snapping to elements inside symbols does not work for me either. I have tested various symbols in various files and they all give me the same result. I am surprised that this hasn't been more of an issue before. I agree it would be essenti...

I really don't want to be rude, but I had such high hopes for HD, and for the longest time their customer service was s...

Re: Any news?

Couldn't agree more... I have now used most of the "high end" CAD programs out there, including implementing BIM, and for straight 2D draughting HD is still my favourite. I have been looking very forward to the next update, but it is getting ridiculous the amount of time we've been waiting...
