Precision in dimensions

Post by fedor »

How do I set the precision on a dimension? I started out with the units preferences set to two decimal places, and I changed it later to 0 decimal places, but dimensions still get drawn with two decimal places (sometimes one...).

Some changes in the Preferences window do not force a regeneration of the drawing when the dialog closes.
The text labels of the dimensions are recreated on each refresh, and each time they pick the most recent settings of precision.
Usually, scrolling, zooming or updating the screen in any other way updates the dimension labels as well.

Please let us know if that's not the case.

Well, I have the latest version and the units set to 'decimal feet and inches'. Now, no matter what I set the precision to, I always get at least 1 decimal place (e.g. 8'3.0") sometimes more. I wanted 0 decimal places so I just get 8'3"

Anyway, I switched it to just 'decimal feet' with 1 decimal, and that is good enough.
