boundary lines

Has anyone here used boundary lines?

I have just created a custom boundary line and when I zoom in and out it expands and contracts so I don't have any idea what the actual scale of it is... Can this be changed like the arrowhead zoom option?

When you say "Boundary Lines" do you simply mean a style of line like one that has a dash and two dots alternating or is this some type of line, with special properties, that can be created in HD ?

Should have been more clear... There is a series of lines called boundary lines in the HD manager linetypes menu (42-46 in the following image).

I have made a custom boundary line - no 63. I am using the line to depict a fence.
