peatle, yes, that's how i'm reading it. I'll be manually feeding my pages over 24".oh ! OK Erin I reread you r post and I tnink now that anything over 18 X 24 you have to feed into a slot sheet by sheet, so there is no actual tray, is that correct ?
See if HP.com charges more for Canada. They may not since they're an International company & probably have a Canadian distribution point. Crossing my fingers that it's so. You may even be able to get the referbished for $400 less. I found the referb offer by going to hp.com & entering "Designjet 130 refurbish" in the search bar.
THis review was really helpful :

Re: plotter problems with 1.8
Hi All,
My HP Designjet 130 stopped working with 1.8. I am on OSX 10.4.11 (not the new fancy pants version). Have any other DJ 130 users experienced problems printing? I was on the phone with HP for a few hours this morning & got the printer working fine with all other programs. It only fails when I try to print from HD.
Any advice would be fantastic - I'm slightly screwed for a deadline tomorrow if I don't get this puppy working. Worst case I guess I can try to open the drawing in HD 1.7...I think I still have it floating around someplace

Re: plotter recommendations
Steven, is that what you're doing with 1.8 (print to PDF)? Have you been able to do straight printing without going the PDF route?

Re: plotter recommendations
Printing is the last process. My drawings are passed along to clients, engineers, consultants, and employees, so the PDF format works best for review and emailing. The PDF format also keep others from changing them. Also most of my clients are from out of town, so it gives them the chance to print the drawings. I experiment today when I get to the office.
Re: plotter recommendations
I just printed a HD drawing from 1.8 without any problems from my HP 130.......

Re: plotter recommendations
I do believe though, Erin that Steven is on OSX.5 - that might be the difference.
Hope you get it all sorted out!
