On Highdesign 2017.2.0 I have some difficulty to create and manage Styles (style modification and style update do not work properly).. I look forward to the next release, is there a scheduled date for the update?
With the new release are there any improvements for the create new ew fill/ hatch function?
It will be possible to create a new hatch with circles, arcs and ellipses? and set partial transparency of the texture through the alpha channel?
Thank you

In HighDesign 2019 styles will be a much more central feature. We redesigned the whole engine and improved the way objects are "styled", so as to encourage a workflow in which graphic styles and element types are the standard and custom, non-styled elements are exceptions. This is particularly useful to keep the project well organized and to ease to interoperability with BIM software.

Hatches and textures have not changed much since HD 2017. The next updates that will be available this year will introduce adjustable opacity for textures, auto-filling like the bucket/magic wand tool in other programs, and other properties that will connect hatches to materials.

We plan to release HighDesign 2019 this February.
