Text re-formating

Post by Michael Colbert »

I found a nice font. It looks great on the page though when I print, it reformats the text. I have been into setting and can't seem to change the outcome. Any ideas?

Thanks. M

How does it reformat?

Have you "validated" the font using Mac's Font Book?

Hi Michael,

I had this problem all the time... here is the workaround;
make sure that all your text boxes are significantly wider than your actual text. Sometimes your control points look like your text has just enough space, but when you go to print there is actually not enough space so it automatically breaks your lines.
I personally have gotten into the habit of setting guidelines on a layer that I turn off for printing.

Hope this helps.

derek

Thanks Derek

That worked. Nice if it worked properly. Beta...I think the software holds great promise.
