reselect last selection

I'd like the ability to reselect the last items I had selected. Helpful after a control Z.

that's a great idea... been many times when I've had to cancel a long shift-selection routine because of an accidental inclusion of an object I didn't want and can't seem to shift-click it away

I can't count how many times I've done a tedious select, completed the command, then realized it wasn't the correct distance, angle, etc. Or, even more common, I want to do lots of things to a the same of stuff (move, rotate, move to diff layer, change color, change font face).
