Is it possible to join spline and polyline?

Hi, I am currently using a trial version and considering to purchase the program.
Is there a way to create surfaces by joining splies and polylines?
I'm also looking to find a way for merging, cutting or intersecting adjacent or overlapping surfaces. Is it possible?

Not at this moment. We have plans to implement boolean operations (intersections, union, etc.) in the near future though.
In the current version you can group two shapes so that they can be selected, moved and stretched.
